he leaders of LP219 united in service through our Community Service Project in partnership with New Directions for Women (NDFW) — one of California's premier residential treatment centers for women and children battling addiction, located in Costa Mesa. As one of the few programs in the nation that allows mothers to bring their children into treatment, NDFW keeps families together and breaks the generational cycle of addiction.
Our goal was to raise $39,000 to fund partial scholarships for women who had exhausted their resources but still needed life-saving treatment and childcare support while they healed — and together, we surpassed it, raising $55,917 to invest in second chances, restored families, and the power of community.
On May 24, 2026, we brought that mission to life through our Hope Starts Here event, where we assembled 56 Hope Starts Essentials Welcome Kits for women entering the program, heard from NDFW Executive Director, and opened our doors to the community for facility tours and meaningful conversations around recovery and healing.
