Ask graduates which moment of a training stayed with them, and a surprising number will name the same thing: the morning Chris Lee taught them about gratitude. Not gratitude as a pleasant feeling — gratitude as a discipline, practiced out loud, until it changes what you believe is possible.
Chris Lee is one of the veteran trainers who leads courses at MITT, and his story is woven through the modern history of transformational training itself.
Chris has spent more than thirty years leading transformational trainings and seminars across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He is bilingual, training with equal fire in English and Spanish, and has led programs from Los Angeles to Puerto Rico — where his work has made him a recognized voice in personal development for the Spanish-speaking world.
His corporate résumé reads like a tour of the companies that shape culture: he has worked with teams at Google, Apple, Microsoft, IBM, DreamWorks, Paramount Pictures, Universal, Sony Music, and the WWE, bringing emotional intelligence training into rooms more accustomed to quarterly targets.
Chris's private coaching clients include Grammy-winning artist Ednita Nazario, actors Gabriel Macht and Julian Gil, television personality Barbara Bermudo, and entrepreneurs including School of Greatness founder Lewis Howes — who has called Chris one of his most important mentors and has hosted him on the podcast repeatedly, making Chris one of the most frequently returning guests in the show's history. Those episodes, on topics from abundance to emotional intelligence, have reached millions of listeners.
He is also an author. His book, Transform Your Life: 10 Principles of Abundance and Prosperity, distills the framework he has taught for decades: that scarcity is a learned mindset, and abundance is a set of practices — gratitude first among them.
One thread runs through Chris's career that we hold especially dear at MITT: young people. He developed a workshop for adolescents — known as Torch in English and Antorcha in Spanish — teaching teenagers the emotional intelligence tools most of us didn't encounter until adulthood. The program has reached young people across the US, Latin America, and Asia, and shares its spirit with The Torch Foundation, the charitable organization founded by our own founder, Margo Majdi, to make transformational education accessible to at-risk youth.
If you train with Chris, you will hear about the ten principles of abundance. You will practice gratitude — specifically, vocally, and probably with more emotion than you planned on. You will examine where you learned scarcity and decide, on purpose, what to believe instead. His style is high-energy and deeply warm; graduates describe leaving his rooms with both a lighter heart and a longer to-do list, because Chris does not believe in inspiration without action.
Like every MITT trainer, Chris's full background is public — you can meet all of our trainers, read their credentials, and ask us anything about who leads our courses. That transparency is a core commitment of ours: you deserve to know exactly who is standing at the front of the room.
Chris leads select trainings and special sessions at MITT throughout the year, including virtual gratitude and coaching sessions for our graduate community. To find out when he is next leading a course, call our office at (310) 305-7855 — or come to a Tuesday evening guest event and experience the energy for yourself.
